I would only advice you to make purchases from G2A if you find a game that never goes on sale (and you don't think the price is anywhere near worth it) and if you aren't interested in helping the devs. There's a thing called G2A Shield for it, which is kind of an insurance in order to avoid getting scammed while buying from there, so there's little to no risk of getting scammed. It's a place where people resell keys on their own terms. You can buy stuff for a ton of value, or if you're feeling gentle, you can pay more than the minimum as a donation.Īnother site I don't 100% agree with is G2A. Outside of their bundles, the Humble Store is neat in the sense that 5% of every purchase you make goes to charity. Humble Bundle and Bundle Stars have some crazy value per dollar if you buy stuff at the minimum price, and you can choose what percentage of your money goes to HB, to the companies selling the game, and to charity. I'm not sure if isthereanydeal tracks GOG prices because they change a lot from region to region, so you might want to keep track of prices there separately. GOG tends to put its prices really low since the prices of the games themselves are cheaper, and the guys who own it are CD-Projekt, the guys who made The Witcher 3. You can use Is There Any Deal? to track a lot of stores at the same time (all are official and most, if not all, give you Steam Keys) for a given game or create an account and sync your Steam wishlist to it.
